Re: The Sinners Prayer: Does it Save You?

"If salvation is all of grace and all of God"

I'm not saying grace is God there. I'm saying salvation is all of grace, meaning salvation is by grace alone.

Charles Spurgeon's most famous book about salvation being by grace alone, is called "All of Grace".

The second part of my statement was salvation is "all of God" meaning just what Jonah meant when he said,

"Salvation is of the Lord"
Jonah 2:9

So let me rephrase to make my question more clear hopefully:

If salvation is by grace alone, and salvation is of the Lord, and if God deals with everyone in the world equally but yet some are not saved, then we must conclude there was something different about us, some deciding factor, maybe a decision, that made all the difference. Right?

Why are you saved and someone else isn't?

What does it all come down to in your mind.
