These two scriptures together do make a compelling case for your point-of-view, even just Revelation 20:14–15 on it's own does seem to support the typical Christian view-point of everyone but the faithful in Christ go to hell. I agree that having the names written in the book of life is the same as being saved. I still feel that there are some pieces to the puzzle that we don't have. Yes, at some point, everyone is going to have to choose to either accept Christ or reject Christ, but I do also believe that everyone will have the chance to do so. I guess that belief of mine is not supported by scripture, except maybe a few that hint at it. I think there is a reason that it is not until the second coming of Christ that the final judgement is given and not just at the time that you die.
