Re: How to have motivation to fast and not be beaten down by cravings?

I have reached enlightenment. I just came up with a system for preventing overeating. All this time I was trying to fast and then overeat, trying to fast and then overeat and regretting big time after overeating. I thought my problem was having eaten but it is actually overeating. Yesterday I felt so bad after eating that I called a guide. She made me have motivation again. I then proceeded to go on yahoo answers to ask people what's a smart way to prevent overeating, just like my enjoyables system where I give myself a point for doing something and having enjoyed it. When I get two hundred points, I get to watch a movie. Because of this system, I stopped having panic attacks from boredom and will never see the inside of a mental ward ever again. But my days are still disrupted by overeating. Only two or three people answered my question, all telling me to drink water, so I wrote my own answer up. I wasn't even sure of my answer, but I just stated the most obvious ways that came to me, talking my thoughts and questions out loud. I arrived at the conclusion that I will give myself ten points everyday and deduct one point for every minute that I felt bad from eating, since feeling bad means I have overeaten. If I feel bad for more than ten minutes, I will go negative and possibly be in debt. So this morning, when my stomach cried out for food, I was afraid of feeling bad afterwards and only ate one stringed bean. This is a really good system because I have tried measuring out my portions before and only ended up overeating at the end of the day, too much and I ate and ate and ate. Now I might even live to a hundred and forty something because of this system, seeing how I only ate one stringed bean. The first supporting evidence is scientific studies done on rats, monkeys, worms, and dogs where the more their calorie intake was restricted, short of malnutrition, the longer they lived. The second evidence is the Japanese city of Okinawa, where its inhabitants eat seventy percent of what Americans eat and they have so many centenarians. Also, if you look up news of centenarians and longest living elders, they all say the same thing, that they eat very little. The last example I give you is something I read on fasting on wikipedia, where a doctor started eating very little at the age of forty; I cannot remember what he ate but it involved a grape. He lived to one-twenty. But I started twenty years earlier than he, so I might live twenty more years. Did I tell you that when I have collected two hundred points in my eating less system, my reward will be a movie just like the other aystem? The system discourages overeating and works very well, way better than measuring out your portions. I do not know the reason to post any more messages after telling you about my final solution, so this might be my last post. My life will be so much easier and happier and longer now. My stomach will also thank me and get better from all those times of fasting then overeating. It really is an enlightenment. The half of me that wanted to fast and the half that wants to eat have finally stopped fighting and reached a modus vivendi. Peace with you all. Beautiful bliss upon you. Hope you solve your problems smartly just like I did. Love, light, and ease onto you. Farewell. :):-);-):-D^_^
