Yes, this was me years ago; food combining was a blessing to know about; having IBS.
Lifesaver for me.
Now; I can have the bun or potatoes with the burger or steak:)
One thing I still cannot have too much of, is grains mixed with milk, fruit. Like a fruit muesli with milk or kefir. Healthy?; not for the ones with a sensitive digestion.
Rule was; proteins with veggies but not starch. Fruits never combined with anything; only in the morning on itself before 12 or two hours after other food.
This way I managed to keep my IBS under control; 10 years before Iodine etc.
