Re: To the Iodine Jedi-s
Actually that is not true.
Peter is a doctor of naturaopathy which entails fairly rigorous study of biochem and anatomy. I would say probably more formal education than you have in health. Which of course doesn't mean much in the real world, but it does discredit your attempt to devalue his degree.
He also happens to be extremely knowledgeable as a statistician, which is the basis for the diet. He has thousands of hours logged in collating peer reviewed studies.
I would guess that you have not looked deeply into his work, because there is a reason has been an internationally acclaimed best selling author for many years now, and it's not because his work is 'bogus'. It's because A LOT of people have seen great benefit from his diet research. His books have been translated into scores of different languages for a reason, and not because it is bogus.
Yes it is true that part of his diets include people avoiding certain modern junk foods, but that is just a very small part of it.
I wish people people wouldn't make unfounded comments like this without doing the research.
You can easily check out his forums for yourself and see that there is much more than just random changes in diet going on. I have seen people put lyme disease,
Rheumatoid Arthritis , thyroid disorders, cancers, all into remission. It doesn't work for everyone, but it does work for a lot of people.
There is no need to put someone else's work down to further your own cause. Actually it reflects more poorly on you than him.
