I could frickin eating 1 kilo of oranges one time :). Now I had to stop any fruit if I want to get better.
I guess quinoa do have gluten but less than other grains. Boiling them and adding water change the glicemic index also the same with brown rice. If I eat brown rice cake (the crispy dry) I'm totally blunt in one minute. If I eat 1 spoon of boiled brown rice plus some veggies and coconut oil not so much...
I'll suggest to investigate more on the way of associating foods and different ways of cooking.
