Re: hot water on eczema euphoria phenom; anyone?

Hi. I get the euphoric reaction when I scratch. It was very addictive until I discovered products like Vagisil and Lanacane (extra strength) have a topical anesthetic in them that kills the itch at least long enough for me to resist that first terrible pull. I no longer wake up at night like a puppet on a string, yanked awake by a stabbing itch. Now I will wake up itchy but I put on a bit of the cream and i can get back to sleep. These creams are not meant for steady use but I use them to help me heal. I hope to soon be free. All the best to you.
