Re: hot water on eczema euphoria phenom; anyone?

Hi all,

I've been following this thread for several years now. I am glad to know that there are people out there who have discovered this quick way of relief.
As many of you have mentioned, applying hot water over the itchy part of the skin feels VERY good. However, I do notice that afterwords, my skin does get worse. After applying hot water, my skin tends to be quite red, sore, and cracked - even after applying ointment or cream. Nonetheless, this hot water treatment seems to be the only shortcut to relieving the intense itch.

I strongly recommend using the product aquaphor with a combination of Aveeno's cooling lotion. Put these two products together and I promise that you will see your skin (and irritating itch) clear up in several days!
