I find your comment unforgiving and overly critical.
Although, I am glad you started a discussion and it seems you help people in many forums here.
What is your experience in healing injuries?
What is your experience with fasting? Have you tried it "for more than one or two days at a time"?

I believe everyone here is to take whatever they judge best for themselves. Also no one claims to give professional advice, since in that case we would be charging/paying for them.

What is your advice as to which nutrients besides protein one needs? I sincerely would be interested to learn something I am not aware of yet ... BTW the body would use amino-acids not the actual proteins. In a difficult situations like this, no one says it is easy, sparing the body digestive work is essential. Which sources of amino acids do you recommend and what is your experience with these sources?

I believe, you can claim something to be ridiculous, if at least you have tried it for a good time length and not only it did not help you, but in fact harmed you.
