severe ankle sprain, will water fast accelerate healing process?
Hi guys, newbie here, I went for my morning run 2 hours ago and 5 mins into it i severely sprained my left ankle, I basically cant put any weight on it, so I will be out of commission at least for a couple weeks.
have a couple of questions
1.will
Water Fast will help speeding the healing process? I read an article long time ago that sick animals stop eating to help the healing, would that work in humans?
2.how many days for trauma(ankle strains)
3.should I take vitamins or just water?
4.how much water/day?
5.would i lose a lot o muscle/lean body mass(i weight training on the regular basis)
any links about the subject would be helpful
