Re: SCD vs GAPS vs Bee Wilder
Oh sorry.
-I've been fully on the diet + supplements for 4 months now.
-I eat nutritional yeast occasionally, it doesn't seem to give me any problems when I eat it.
-I was not absorbing food before I went on Bee's diet, I was literally starving for 2 weeks before I got on it. I also had liver pains and pains in my left side that were constant, but now I only occasionally get them and they last for a short time. I used to be slightly yellow all the time and had a colder body temperature. I also had insomnia as well, would take me 2-3 hours some nights to fall asleep. All of these have improved. I'm not cured or anything but I expect to be after maybe a year or two.
I never got a diagnosis from a doctor, doctors were useless in my case (they kept telling me I was fine, or did some tests that revealed nothing).
-I had one very serious healing reaction when I first started the program. I literally couldn't get my body temperature up, I had cramps, diarrhea, a headache, fever, nausea, and I was really fatigued for around a week. It made me feel a whole lot better afterwards though.
Since then I've had headaches and minor stuff like that.
-I do do the enemas she suggests,
coffee enemas seem to help a lot. I'm convinced they do not stimulate the adrenals as some on here say. They may keep you awake when you first start doing them but thats because your body detoxes when you sleep, and the enema does that for you.
- I am still unsure about the probiotics stance. I have taken many probiotics in the past (mccombs and dr mercola's) and have not noticed any difference from them. I'm unsure because other people seem to have improved from them. So I am experimenting with them still and have found a recipe for cabbage rejuvalac and saurkraut.
