Re: Fecal Transplant
Candida overgrowth in the gut for two reasons. Something happen to the antagonistic friendly bacterial flora and an immune deficiency is acquired. This is the overgrowth case. The other case is the sensitivity case. People who don't have overgrowth but their immune system is constantly attacking candida and don't recognize it as commensal or normal habitant. Both cases are possible, the
Antibiotics can cause both cases. The first is an overgrowth, and it triggers the sensitivity to candida. You follow an anticandida program and the overgrowth is corrected but the immune system was already activated against candida when the overgrowth occurred. Since candida can not be totally eliminated, the immune system never stop attacking it, candida cells are exploited releasing its toxins in the body. Those toxins are what cause the symptoms. Anyway, if the overgrowth and mutation to fungus is your case, it is because the antagonistic flora was affected and the immune system couldn't hold the infection by itself. You need the antagonistic flora back and the only hope is from someone who hasn't taken long
Antibiotic rounds and don't have fungal intestinal overgrowth. In the case you don't have overgrowth, but are sensitive, you need shots, treatment to the point the immune system stop attacking candida and cool off. It is the only way to return to normal. Both journey are difficult.
