STumped, you asked about the white fibrous material that formed on the top of the bins after you mentholated. It looks like cotton candy.

This sometimes happens with the menthol. It changes characteristics—like water freezes and becomes ice.

The white fuzz is not Morgie fibers. Sometimes this happens when there is too much menthol being used or the menthol is close to the top of the plastic bin.

If you look close the the picture fungiworld posted for me, you'll see a buildup of white fuzz on the lid of the garbage pail as well.
