Re: No need for a "cotton gene" from plant..

oh good explanation, I understood but that was clear to imagine how it all takes place.

Ok this is interesting, the puppy at work who I love dearly and sometimes babysit for and some of these times were at my old apt where the severe mold problem was and Bed bugs.

She also got horrible Lyme ( lives in the country on weekends could not walk or get up, terrible pain, not eating). Took Antibiotics and got better.

I am unclear as to what caused this but...

she started getting these tumors. The vet unable to determine what was up gave her antibiotic. The tumors went away. Stop the drug, tumors came back. This went on for some time and got worse. Finally surgery, tumors came back, major surgery, removed a rib to get the one wrapped around it. Tumors came back. Took the right antibiotic, they never reappeared in 4 years.

Vet said it was a plant growing in her, common in california...WTF anyone heard of this? Sounds just like the crown gall you are talking about fungi.
