Hey Fungiworld! I loved ( hated ) your water work, it was one reason I decided to finally post here instead of just read. Nice shots. I am sorry about your hair and you being here. My hair was making fibers ( white tiny floaty ones), moving, and biting my face at it's worst in December. I made a video ( I just could not believe what I was seeing ) of the moving and that is when I saw it was spewing fibers also. It is 50% better from my treatments posted earlier. What i learned from this is the distinct movement so to recognize in other places, next the q-tips which I had not taken seriously the warnings until I looked... that is when I was able to recognize it in my clothes and look. I only have a 20x loop. You have some nice equipment it seems, good light, clear images. I have an older mac and have not found anything compatible. I guess if the clothes made tangled fibers, and they did not take the next step to go into my skin ( bite me) I would think like you. To elaborate on the shorts that bit me, I put them on just to test even though I saw with my loop the fibers standing straight up all over. Within 30 minutes I noticed a lint ball like you just posted on the back of my hand and rotated my arm to see a big angry fresh bite on my wrist. Based on someone's post previously here using dryox granules and water to activate I was able to open my flesh and remove the fresh attacker. It was a white cacoon and what looked like tiny larva outside of it. I will post this sample when I get my microscope... I had not moved from the time of putting on the shorts having a phone conversation sitting stationary. Where I was bit was exactly where my arm had been resting on the shorts.

Agrobacterium - note it can transfer genes to plant and fungi.... also note agrobacterium is used in genetic modification of food plants and cotton.

Morgellons could be a genetically modified organism with expert pleomorphism properties and the ability to transfer its genes to anything in the host environment - namely fungus but perhaps it has the ability to transfer genes to bacteria, viruses and parasites as well?

The ability of Agrobacterium to transfer genes to plants and fungi is used in biotechnology, in particular, genetic engineering for plant improvement. A modified Ti or Ri plasmid can be used. The plasmid is 'disarmed' by deletion of the tumor inducing genes; the only essential parts of the T-DNA are its two small (25 base pair) border repeats, at least one of which is needed for plant transformation. Marc Van Montagu and Jozef Schell at the University of Ghent (Belgium) discovered the gene transfer mechanism between Agrobacterium and plants, which resulted in the development of methods to alter Agrobacterium into an efficient delivery system for gene engineering in plants.[7][8] A team of researchers led by Dr Mary-Dell Chilton were the first to demonstrate that the virulence genes could be removed without adversely affecting the ability of Agrobacterium to insert its own DNA into the plant genome (1983).

The genes to be introduced into the plant are cloned into a plant transformation vector that contains the T-DNA region of the disarmed plasmid, together with a selectable marker (such as Antibiotic resistance) to enable selection for plants that have been successfully transformed. Plants are grown on media containing Antibiotic following transformation, and those that do not have the T-DNA integrated into their genome will die. An alternative method is agroinfiltration.

Transformation with Agrobacterium can be achieved in two ways. Protoplasts, or leaf-discs can be incubated with the Agrobacterium and whole plants regenerated using plant tissue culture. A common transformation protocol for Arabidopsis is the floral-dip method: the flowers are dipped in an Agrobacterium culture, and the bacterium transforms the germline cells that make the female gametes. The seeds can then be screened for Antibiotic resistance (or another marker of interest), and plants that have not integrated the plasmid DNA will die.

Agrobacterium does not infect all plant species, but there are several other effective techniques for plant transformation including the gene gun.

What's weird is that in 1989 when I was a teenager, I had a dream (believe me, germ warfare/bioengineering/sci fi was not on my mind as a California teen girl) that there was an airplane overhead emitting an airborn, gaseous, chemical trail and people were breaking out in itchy welts all over their legs and body.

Funny, you should mention this. I was listening to a radio program on dreams, the other day. The speaker was saying how we are able to travel to the future in our dreams. Also, that, then one is able to use that knowledge to one's advantage. Myself, I have night terrors and wake up before the dreams get going. He advised to stay asleep and face the dreams. S%$#, guess I'll give a go at facing the night terrors.
