But, I wasn't talking about the spin flipping of protons. Although I shouldn't have to repeat what I wrote, I might now because apparently some don't appreciate the difference between magnetic domains and protons. The operative word was:

magnetite

present in the body.

Which, your posting and those of others had neglected to mention.


Alignment of the domains in magnetite is rather permanent, until the Curie temp is reached.
