Re: Transcendence

I guess I reply to IC's posts most because he's "here" the most, but reading solus' post on how she finds that she is judged as a vegan....well...I find that I am put on the defensive because I choose to eat meat. It involves killing. Well, criminy...life, death, life, death. Everything consumes everything.

I tried vegetarianism AND veganism. Got fat being a vegetarian(ok, I was young, as long as it wasn't meat, I ate it, so, no doubt I was sloppy). Veganism was not sustainable for me, and mmmm, that first bite of chicken...

My diet is cyclical. Mostly raw vegan in the summer, we have an orchard and a garden. In the winter though, I need some hot food. And on a regular basis I need some slow-burning animal protein. Minimal grains, lots of vegs.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Can I still post here? :)
