Re: Some belief systems..

IC at no time did I give an opinion on whether killing animals for meat is okay or not, or whether killing humans for sport or food, is ok or not. This was your assumption, I was merely making an observation that belief systems lead to judgements, (moral judgements), by those that are attached to those belief systems.

"We know intrinsically that killing is not optimal."

Do we? or do you?

"Do we continue to create a negative loosh structure that harbors suffering as a byproduct or do we consciously carve a different path?

I am guessing you eat meat?"

I don't know about 'we', but I personally do what feels right to me, and sits well within my consience. As I believe you do. As for eating meat, I think I'll let you guess on that one, suffice to say I go with my feelings and consience on the matter.
