Seriously though I find it so weird we live in a culture that has no problem bombing people but no problem mass farming animals for meat which is proven to waste mass energy resources and cause all kinds of problems. That doesn't even get into the needless suffering of animals.

The irony is that society would accept the interception by force of a murder caught in the act but if a hunter was intercepted by the same means, this would be widely unacceptable.
