Hi! I really haven't had to worry about it recently. I have taken phazyme and gas-x in the past. My mom swears by gas-x. I really hope the kefir works for you.
The only gas I have had recently is in the early afternoon. I think it's from the flax meal. I do have trouble with dehydration and sjogren's type symptoms ( just dry all over) and so I think maybe I'm just not well-hydrated enough to take on much fiber first thing in the morning. I am going to take the flax meal at night and see if there is any difference. If it still gives me trouble, I'll change to all flax oil instead of the combination. Also, I Had been neglecting the kefir. Today I left off the flax meal and took my kefir, and NO gas all day. I generally have been drinking a smoothie with about 3/4 cup plain dannon naturals yogurt, maybe about 1/2 cup kefir, frozen blueberries, and stevia. I think the yogurt and the kefir are both VERY good for digestion. Sorry to get so long winded, just hoping something will help you. Also, I have found that drinking lots of water is still essential for me. On the days I don't, I tend to have trouble--though NOTHING like when I was eating wheat. I also think I may have some problems with soy, but I am not sure yet. No gas, just underarm odor. Either it is grains in general, sugar, or soy. Not sure yet. Take care!!
