Way way off topic

to heck with bulky clothing, I actually prefer to carry a sidearm. But that's just me, my husband and I both enjoy target shooting, we go to the gun range and scare the dickens out of the bushes on a regular basis. We also collect old military rifles, which are also fun to shoot. It's just amazing what a leveling effect a .9 mm has on someone larger than you are.
Have you ever considered studying some sort of self defense? If you don't wish to carry a weapon, you might like studying one of the martial arts. I don't like to see anyone so scared they would have to wear a burka, or even think about it, they don't sound cool at all. I think my Islamic friends wore something similar to what you wear, Jamal always had his head covered, and that guy was serious about praying. He did it a lot.
