Re: Burkas on the Streets of Austin, O/T

"PS- I have a honest question for the woman who will not speak to anyone with face cover... Will you answer the door to trick-or-treaters? Or will you throw the candy out and slam it? Please just give that some thought. Surely, you dont think they are being disrespectful to you by wearing masks. Its a tradition. You might want to be more honest and introspective with yourself about why you feel so threatened. Fear and crulty is not becomming for a person of strong character or for the soul."

I have already stated that I feel it is disrespectful to cover the face when speaking to me. I am being open with her by showing my face, and I expect the same back. That is my way and tradition of MY values. Why should I go back on my values for her tradition? That you equate that with halloween is ridiculous. Why not equate it with a person who wears a face mask to rob a bank? Because I find it disrespectful to me doesn't mean I am cruel. Why do you not say she is cruel for being disrespectful to me? The fear that I see is her hiding behind her mask. As for my fear, I already explained that in my previous post.

And to peggyaus, I just love your R rated post. It deserves some more Rs.
