The Prophet's wives then decided to cover their faces, this becoming what we call Kimar.

The prophets wives made a decision to honor their husbands. I'm sure this pleased Allah, but Allah did not command it. And sometimes we do the wrong things for the right reasons. The fact that men in Saudi Arabia chose to make this a law and promote it as religious thing is an indication that they are playing God. Alla intends for women to be respected and revered. Alla could not want for women to deal with hungry ghosts preying upon them.

I have a dear friend who is Muslim, although she is liberal and does not cover her head. I respect your spiritual beliefs and convictions.

But sometimes I question the validity of religions, especially those that seek to hide or mutilate the human body, which is a gift from God.
