Re: Burkas on the Streets of Austin, O/T

"Lets not lower ourselves ladies we each want to share our tidbits of truth with her
but we cannot force her to change.
And so embrace her as a fellow human being as a fellow woman and pray that the truth will come to her also."

I don't feel like I have lowered myself by stating how I feel. For you to say that is insulting to me....and so gives me my first impression of you. No one if forcing her to change. Sharing thoughts are to make a person think from another perspective. That is how change comes about in all aspects of life. She posted an event in her life and her reactions to it. I posted my reactions to her post. And you're posting your reactions to all posts. I don't know what she was expecting to receive from her post, but my feeling from reading it was sadness and pity. Here was a man being a creep, and her reaction to it was that maybe she should wear a veil also. How can I not find that sad?

I know that my opinions cannot FORCE change...I don't have that power. Perhaps you praying that the truth will come to her be the answer.
