Re: Food is ruining my life!!!!!!!!!!

Hey there hon, I totally know what you mean. The cravings chase me too and at times they seem incredibly difficult to control. What helped me a lot is doing my first fast as a juice fast. When you must have SOMETHING - you can go have juice. OD'ing on Juice is better than OD'ing on cheeseburgers, at least in the beginning. I didn't start with Water Fasts and it seemed hard when I did start. I started with The Master Cleanse and having a lot of Cayenne Pepper in the recipe helps a lot with cravings and hunger. This might be a segway until you feel ready to move toward juice only or water only. This may be able to help with the physical side of cravings (I absolutely believe that these substances are physically addictive).

Once you're past the physical side, down the road, something to keep in mind is the mental side of it. Coming off the cleanse, some newbies have trouble not binging. You can go to a juice fast for a while, then go back to food and rebuild for a while. But as long as you are leaning on the lemonade (what you drink in the Master Cleanse) or juice or gum or something, you're still in the mentality of consuming something. Eventually it has to feel okay to just not and to be thinking about work or something fun instead of food. It's a journey and I wish you the very very best success to gaining health and slenderness which will make you feel good about you and physically good.
