Re: Water fasting & Coffee? (day 4 of ???)

Bling,

One of the best things for reducing or eliminating coffee cravings is a fast.
What continues to cause the cravings, even after not having had any for some time, is the toxic residues left behind in the tissues of the body from any earlier consumption of coffee.
This is true with any drug.
Most drug treatment programs are geared toward training the person in different methods to resist the drugs in the future.
Even Alcoholics Anonymous rewards people with little trinkets indicating how many months since they last touched a drink.
Its geared around resistance, rather than removing the cause of the cravings.
I believe there is one drug treatment program that uses the sauna as a means of getting the residues out of the body and supposedly that program has about a 98 percent success rate as compared to I believe something on the order of about a 30 to 40 percent rate for most of the programs that train in resistance.
With a fast, the body cleans out all that stuff.
It works on cleaning out all toxins. So eventually a person would become clean of the cause of the cravings.
I was a coffee drinker before my last fast and as of now I have no interest in it.
