Thank-you for your reply. It answers and supports my concerns. I thought that drinking a cup of coffee on my seventh day might be a pleasant boost to the process, but I agree, it will likely just confuse my body from the "purpose". I also agree that fasting of any kind is beneficial but longer fasts provide the greatest benefit. My hats off to you on 35 days. My longest is 25 days and having fasted for 38 times in 13 years, my average is 6.5 days. Have a great day!
