Gosh, I had read your post and meant to answer later as I was running short on time, and then I forgort where the post was!!!!

Thank you for a lovely response.   I have never been particularly pro or against wars per se, they are part of human nature and history, which is fallen to begin with.

In the case of THIS particular war in which the US is presently engaged, I have some serious disagreements.  However when it comes to supporting the men and women who are in the battlefields, yes, they have my full support.   These brave young people are ready to defend the land whether the threat is real or orchestrated by powerful button pushers, and they are laying down their very lives.   Yes, that is indeed Christlike.
