Re: Jesus Prays for His Disciples

From your first post, it is obvious that you are not GENUINELY concerned with the welfare of others. Comparing the mass murder of innocents to the crucifixion of Our Lord is not only highly disrespectful of all humanity, it is grossly irreverant to God and His Son. No doubt you will claim to have the spirit present in you, but the spirit would not allow such mockery of humanity, the crucifixion, and all that is good, right and true (absolutes, Ephesians 5:9).

Yet I am not surprised that you are concerning yourself and making an issue of MY welfare (brilliant tactic to change the tone of the conversation and attempt to make me defensive, how condescending of you!). However, I rest in The Lord, His grace is sufficient for me. What's more, I have fully acknowledged that we were made in the image of God ("I am who I am", Exodus 3:14) and learned the sword of His spirit. So, don't pretend to genuinely be concerned with my welfare or even fancy yourself to have the ability to be a hero to me. God is my only hero and always will be (you are out of your league).

I have no problems and need no "purging".

People imagine others to have "problems" so they can imagine themselves to be the other person's hero and redeem their own conscience (and ego). If you haven't understood Hebrews 9:14 yet, the only way the conscience can be redeemed properly is to learn "the sword" from God's spirit (hence the name "sword OF the spirit").

You concern yourself with OTHER people's business in order to ignore/neglect your own (the bias of your heart is not so "flattering", is it?, needs attention). The Lord gives wise counsel on that (or do you imagine His wise counsel to be "COMMANDS" as is commonly taught? My dad never "COMMANDED" me).
