Re: surgeon advised to go on a water fast
You have been doing great! Admiration :)
As regards the headache - what does seem to help to some people (including me) are
water enemas - at the beginning it can be even twice a day, later every two days if necessary. There are a lot of toxins circulating in your blood by now, however a great load of these can be found also in the colon. Some recommend to start your fast with a clean colon and cleanse it regularly during your fast (you would be surprised what all leaves your body even after two or more weeks of fasting and after several water enemas). You can also get rid of lots of mucous, dried stuff stuck to the walls of your colon (that is why to repeat the enemas) etc. Other means to ease the unpleasant side effect are regular baths with brushing your skin (unless it is somehow irritated of course) since skin is one of the major organs through which our body eliminates the toxins. Breathing exercises are also recommended, long slow walks etc.
Definitely do not swallow anything but water - preferably distilled or as pure as you can get. Distilled water is supposed to have stronger impact on the elimination process - it "soaks in" more rubbish we want to get rid of and thus the fast can be more efficient. You can have your water cold or warm, depending on what feels better at times though :)
If you start having any other side effects, do not worry, lots of things can happen when fasting and are to be expected, just make sure your urin stays clear and try to keep warm to make it easier for your body.
Lots of luck! :)
