well i have been doing lotz of reading here and a few things just keep eating away at me regarding this whole thing.
Firt of all those claiming to get 6,000 stones or 2 qts out leaves me in disbelief, i know the liver is a large organ as well as the gall bladder, but 6000???? or 2 qts volume?..i'd think that would overwhelm both organs, the GB can not hold 6,000 stones and if even a few thousand were impacted in a liver it should render the liver completely dysfunctional.
Why , if all the thousands of stones exist arent they showing up in autopsys?, the dissect all organs and if these 1,000's of stones were in the livers i'd think something would be documented and doctors wouldnt deny liver stones in general.
Also, if stones are able to be kept preserved from melting then why isnt ANYONE having thier doctors analyize and test them for proof?, i know i sure would, i saw 1 person say he did and it was cholesterol but that was his words, he had no photo-copyied test results. if my doc said there was no such thing as liver stones and i flushed id be the first there the next day with my stones saying " deny that"
I'm not trying to discount this whole flushing thing, but these things i listed just plague me and being the logical person i am the stuff just doesnt add up for me, i mean if all these tons of people are flushing all these stones, then doctors would have to reconize it, also there would be some hard scientific data on the contents and chemical make -up of these stones to prove that they are indeed cholesterol, i mean i just cant help thinking that somehow the chemical make-up of the stuff in the flush recipes reacts with your body and maybe causes these so called stones.....and for those who no longer get stones that could be attributed to your body being in a healthier state due to the other things like diet and colon clenses etc that you have been doing to get healthy.
Maybe im wrong and if i am then good cause i'll be the first to flush, but until i have some way to know without a doubt that im helping myself and clearing actual liver stones then i cant see taking the risk of all the negative side effects i have read about.
Now im all for bowel clenses and colon cleaning, but i just cant seem to get behind the Liver Flush crusade

This is a reply to # 522,203Although i have expressed disbelief over the Liver Flush stone theory i do not discount the fact that it could prolly be beneficial, i'm sure that no matter where or how the stones are made that having soft pliable globs passing thru your system is prolly good and can absorb toxins or at the very least do a nice lil scrubbing on thier way thru the liver, so i dont deny people feeling better after many of these flushes, but there are also many who feel bad or have to do double digit numbers of these flushes to obtain nop more discomfort.
I also had another idea of why peole have flushes that get no stones after doing so many and i think that could be because maybe the toxins in the liver being drawn out by the biochemestry involed in the flush may contribute to the creation of the stones and therefore the number and amount of stones would diminish over time if the liver was totally scrubbed of years of toxic build-up, but then again i also wonder about the long term effects of straining the liver during these flushes.
I also wonder, and do not mean to sound harsh at all because i like this site and am learning about other things as well, but i see so called experts on here who dole out advice and instructions in about 6 different forums and seem to be knowledgable and totally heath conscious, so my question is if someone is virtually chemical free, all organic eating, does all and every clense, flush, etc on here and takes all the herbs and has treated all thier ailments and had proven results with these methods than why would they still after all this time issues ?...i just figured that living a "curezone" lifestyle to the extreme that you are an expert in almost every aspect of nutrition and the body then why are you still having so many health issues, i mean it almost makes all the work and strict regimens not worth it if you are doing everything right and to form then shouldnt you get dramatically better and pretty much stay that way aside from periodic clenses to rid environmental toxins and free radicals etc?- Well, here's my brief story: pinkcat

Already my skin, that's been a mess since adolescence, and has supported many doctors of dermatology, is improving by leaps and bounds. My bowels that had been a mess (putting me into the hospital for a week or two at age 11) are starting to function the way nature intended. Not to mention the fact that I suddenly have boundless energy. It's as if I was living half-a-life before.

This is a reply to # 522,204Firstly no one is here to force you to believe anything. You believe what you will.
Many people will no doubt take offense to your posting. Personally I don't. I think your questions are valid - but they are questions which *you* need to answer not anybody else. No one is selling anything here. We have nothing to prove.
About the composition of the stones - I personally am 100% convinced that they are made of bile. People use many different types of ingredients and always get the same stones. I've used many different colour of olive oil and the colour of the stones is unaffected.
As for the large number of stones - I agree it is a lot.
As for your point about "experts". I am no expert, but I am facing a challenging health condition for which the orthodox medical establishment has no answers. As I result I have had to learn an awful lot in an awful short time. I suspect a lot of the people on curezone are the same.
The bottom line is that Liver Flushing does seem to work for an awful lot of people. Functional liver tests prove it. How it works is still up for debate, but this doesn't detract in anyway from its efficacy. Our ancestors have used natural healing methods for thousands of years without knowing "exactly" how they worked - only that they did work.
For what its worth if anyone were really interested we could probably figure out exactly what is going on in Liver Flushing with a few experiments. But the orthodox medical establishment aren't interested in non-patentable natural remedies. And the alternative health community are too scared of Science and logic.

This is a reply to # 522,204Yeah, I am in total agreement with you. I think some people here are exagerating the amount of stones they pass. But to be honest, there is nothing to lose if you do the flush. I do not think two to three flushes will cause any permanent damage.I have done two myself so far and I am feeling a little better from my blotting stomach, metallic taste in mouth and all that. This is in no way to convience you to do the flush. Listen to yourself. Also, I believe a lot of people are just trying eveything in the world to get better from whatever is bothering them. I was diagnosed with heart disease a year ago and was on those powerful medications but I saw another doctor later and he said he cant find anything wrong with my heart. But I know I was not feeling great so a friend told me maybe I have gallstones. That was how I found the forum and did my first flush before my ultrasound. My ultrasound did not find anything stones. The forum is a great place to learn but I dont follow everything that is posted. One of my concern is the amount of epson salt one takes in a flush. I think it's too much, I dont have any suggestion though. So this is something from me to add your concerns. Take care.

all i have done is ask questions and follow what my instincts are telling me
i believe in gallstones, over a thousand at once without debilitating pain?... no
the one large liver pic is exactly like cirrosis of the liver caused by alcoholism etc.
the only thing ive have repeatedly said was i cant accept liver stones and the fact that its not a well known ailment that if everyone has them and never flushes thenby thier middle age years thier liver would blocked entirely or so severly impaired there would be jaundice etc, and like betta pointed out the liver is solid so stones would be in the ducts and if there were thousands like i have read many expelling 1000 in 1 flush the liver would be unable to work at all.
i did see the one lab report, but i do find it suspicious because i worked in a lab and have underwent 100's of tests as well and all lab reports breakdown chemical compounds by % they dont just say " its got this stuff in it"..... also it said it contained typical gallstone make-up and thats fine i said i believe gallstones.....but people with no gall bladder passing these stones is iffy, also all the Gallstones were tan and the majority were much larger than a pea size and none were bright green.
many posts say stones arent water soluable but i read where peoples melted or broke up in water....i dont claim to know what they are or exactly how they are formed i just dont accept " liver stones "

This is a reply to # 522,203Here are some postings of the composition of stones. And keep in mind, I have had over 2ooo stones come out of my liver (no gb) in 11 flushes. The liver continues to make stones if you do not alter your diet or lifestyle too. I also happen to have hyperlipidemia so that predisposes me to stone formation.

and again i did explain my thoughts on flushes being beneficial for some in that they do seem to possibly clean the liver but that could very well be from created stones scrubbing out build up and toxins...you can use the food coloring theory all you want but until someone shows me some sort of proof on what these stones are made of chemically i dont buy it...i mean for it to be around so long and done by so many, yet no chemical evidence or lab analysis?...2 docs and natural docs said they were soap stones analyized by a lab and the rebuttal to that was a soap recipe and chemical breakdown on making soap...but has anyone tried making soap INSIDE a human body????? or did that rebuttal and recipe include all the introductions to various bodily chemicals and processes???? It's your body do what you wish but i am fully within my rights as a thinking feeling human to pose such questions before i spend money on pre-flush protocol and liver enzymes and pancreas enzymes and commit myself to a possible 20 or more flush regimen.
I have very logical, sensible, and not at all paranoid questions that i really find it hard to believe havent entered the minds of anyone else doing these flushes.
You tell me do one and see, well im sorry but unless i know before hand that they are pre-formed embedded liver stones than im not gonna spend that kind of money i dont have to do this and risk possible pain and possible need to do multiple flushes to get rid of discomfort and aftermath symptoms...not to mention if i did do this and was one of the few who had to be hospitalized my insurance wouldnt cover it because it would qualify as self inflicted- OK. i mean i belive most of the other stuff ive learned here such as, aspartamine, flouride, metal toxicity etc etc etc, those all make sense to me and have detailed chemical breakdowns and analysis to support them and the rebuttals by the SYSTEM of traditional medicine are weak and full of holes and inconclusive mumbo jumbo, so i look at both sides and analyize the data and make an instinctive decision....but with this i see no data, just pics of stones and 1 of a liver with a tone stuck in a duct that could have been put there by hand very easily and it was only 1 when even the big article claims you should get hundreds out in a single flush....there is not a single chemicl analysis of stones posted...one side says cholesterol, one side says soap stones, neither have a lab report to back up thier theories.
if u wanna flush then do it, thats you and this is me and im not gonna risk the pain or possible side effects untill i can be sure that these stones are actually embedded in livers of the population- stone reformation? #17538

This is a reply to # 522,220ok one person says the liver keeps making stones and thats why you continue to get so many, like 2,000 with 11 flushes...ok i'll bite, answer me this then.
If i have been poisioning my body for over 30 YEARS and flush out all my stones or most then how in a short time, few weeks to a few months can it remake another hundred or so, i mean if it happened at that rate and that rapidly with poor habits then how is it people arent sufferring liver failure by the millions?...and if they form that fast and that many then why and how are peoples livers still functioning without flushing ever?...i mean at that rate then that would be around 1,000 give or take in like a years time, well id guess that the livers capacity would be full after....say...3000 or more and there would be no liver just a stone pouch and quite the distended abdomen and ruptures or at the very least the liver purging itself and releasing these stones in bursts for relief?....EXPLAIN THAT- Re: stone reformation? annmarie

This is a reply to # 522,221Over a period of three years I experienced gallbladder attacks once a year, so severe that I was hospitalized. There was a definite pattern with a peak due to workoverload and stress, and no eating at all over a few months at a time. I virtually drove my body into a state of survival alert, without knowing it. I was dehydrated and starving, literally, and working 16 hour days!(with a lot of responsibilities on all levels). The establishment insisted on a gallbladder removal, which led me into an intense period of studying, researching and gathering information in order to present them with an academic defense as to why I refused to have my gb removed. They congratulated me on my persistance, and shaking their heads closed the door. I did not have any more attacks, drank water, ate small meals, quit my stressful lifestyle. Needed to do more, though. Found remarkable Curezone, noted all the different posts (long live diversity...)and the selfless advice and endless supportiveness of gentle people--self proclaimed healers/experts or not--and proceeded finally after months of reading and participant observation, to do my first flush today! GREAT! With a life of strange eating habits, and emotional strain (as in any life), living in polluted areas and yadayadayada, I was surprised and fascinated when checking my strainer in the toilet! Stones, calcified and some green and some beige, some sludge, some obvious flukes/ parasite remains. Could be that we 100 years ago did not float in front of the television for hours on end, that the flour wasn't as white as it is now, nor hidden Sugar everywhere. Maybe the roughage was more prevalent in our diets. The americans are not even as privileged as we are in europe when it comes to the availability of decent food at affordable prices.............since we are all individuals we react metabolically differently. I am astonished that I with the first flush passed this hurrendous amount of stones, in that I had assesed my liver being far too congested to react at all!
Let go of the argumentative bilious form, and do the experiment and see whether vitality will be yours. It sounds as though you are not feeling very well. Rather constipated, it seems.
