Day 1 of Water fast (Started January 20, 2014)

Today is the first day of my 15 day water fast. I am determined and ready for this! Well, I am just going week by week, until I hit 15 days just in case, I decide to break my fast early if I can't handle the detoxification once it hits. Am I excited? Yes, a little. Am I confident? Yes, I am, to a point. I don't know how long I will be able to fast. I would love to fast longer than 15 days, but I have things I do around people, such as going to see D., which prevents me from really going too long, until I am by myself for long periods of time. And I would rather spend a little time with D., if I can.

I am really looking forward to see some of my fat disappear, and my body become more toned as the weather gets nicer. I think I would be happier with myself if I keep up on this. Work on keeping my metabolism high, exercising to keep the weight at bay and eating healthier. I know once I turn 40 year old, the weight will be harder to get off and keep off (or so that I have heard) so I really want to work on my flat stomach, because I deserve it.

The Things that I accomplished already today are:

January 20, 2014

√ Fed my cats and loved on them (of course)
√Write Morning pages (3 pages)
√ Read A lot
√ Make my Bed (any time I got out of it for a period of time)

The Things I want to accomplish before I go to bed:

January 20, 2014

Take out the trash
Call my Dad
Fold clothing

WEEKLY GOAL FOR JANUARY 19th -JANUARY 25th, 2014

WORK ON BUDGET: I haven't had to work on this today, as I haven't purchased anything since Sunday, so it is all up to day, as well as my checking is as well.

WRITE IN JOURNAL 7 TIMES: I have wrote my daily morning pages (3 pages) so this goal is coming along nicely. It is coming very easily for me to do this in the morning (especially during the week day.) I get a little lazy on the weekends.

FINISH A BOOK: I am currently working on two books, and I hope to finish one of them by Wednesday and hopefully the other by Friday.

CROCHET 5 TIMES: I haven't started on this at all.

READ BIBLE 7 TIMES: NOPE. I haven't started on this at all.

SAVE $20.00 IN SAVINGS: This is budgeted out of my weekly paycheck, so it should be good for Friday, January 24, 2014. I can't wait. By January 31, 2014, I should have $70.00 in my savings! I am only putting $10.00 the last week, as I have to pay out my lot rent, and that doesn't leave a lot of money to pay with.

PLAN GARDEN:I have found a couple of the packets of seeds that I didn't use last year. I know that I have more. I have to pull out my gardening supplies and see where the rest of them are. I also have to find my gardening book (the notebook in which I write out what I am planting, when I planted it, and where I am planting it. I have used this notebook since 2011 when I made my herb garden. I am seriously thinking about setting aside $5.00 or $10.00 week for gardening, as I need some good soil, and some good pots as well. That way I can have those things by May 25th after the first frost.

START WATER FAST: I started Day 1 on my water fast. I feel hungry, as I ate really well during the day yesterday. There was a couple times that I really wanted to eat the rest of the cheese, and the Turkey pastrami (which I really didn't really like as much as I like beef pastrami). But I didn't. I just took a nap, or read one of of my books or listened to the radio. It was cold outside, so it wasn't like I could go out for a walk. Makes me miss the Spring time when I can keep myself busy by taking a walk or riding my bike. The urge to eat wasn't too strong, but I know by the 3rd day it probably will get bad. Oh, on a gross note, I had a BM, which is nice to remember, because I probably won't have one for a little while. “It is better out then in” as Shrek would say. Hopeful the beginning water fast will go smoothly. I really didn't prepare to much (like reading about water fasts) because I just wanted to do it. So far so good.

SKETCH OUT STEAM PUNK OUTFIT IDEA: I haven't done this yet, but I hope to sometime this week. I need to find my colored pencils as well.
