“Having someone wonder where you are when you don't come home at night is a very old human need. ” ~ Margaret Mead
I slept good, and it probably was because it was much warmer then it has been the last couple days. I really don't heat my trailer (Yes, I live in a stupid trailer, but I own it so at least it is something and affordable) as high as many other might. I haven't used my gas since P. lived with me as he didn't help me with the bill (Yet loved to have the heat set to almost 80 degrees). So I got it shut off and have been using space heaters to keep part of it warm. It isn't cheap, so I freeze myself out a lot. Thus, the reason to huddle under the covers when I am home from November until March. One reason why I wish I could hibernate during those months. It would save me on money if I didn't have to get out of bed.
Anyway, I had a productive morning. This is my daily goals. I know feeding cats and making bed seems horrible, as if I don't do them, (I always do them) but I put them on there, because it is nice to cross something out and seem what I have accomplished no matter how simple.
The Things that I accomplished already today are:
January 10, 2014
√ Fed my cats and loved on them
√ Made my bed
√ Write Morning pages (Journal 3 pages)
√ Take a Vitamin
√ Call Mom
√ Cash check
√ Put $20.00 in savings
√ Pay electric
√Take a vitamin
The Things I want to accomplish to night:
January 10, 2014
Knit a little
Read a little
Read the Bible
Gather receipts/Separate
Clean out wallet
Clean out purse
Water plants
Pick out/organize garden seeds
Balance check book
Pay cell phone
Pick up clothes
Light candle and listen to music
WEEKLY GOALS FOR JANUARY 5th – JANUARY 11th, 2014:
WORK ON BUDGET: I found a nice empty 5 subject notebook to use for my budget. It is already to be used when I get home.
WRITE IN JOURNAL: I found an old 5 subject notebook that I wrote a couple journal entries in 2011 and one in 2012, but the most of it has been unused. So I will be writing in that everyday (hopefully in the morning)
CHECK ON BALANCE OF FORD FOCUS: I accomplished this yesterday.
FINISH THE SON OF NEPTUNE BY RICK RIORDAN: I finished it earlier today!
CROCHET AT LEAST 4 TIMES: No, I haven't started this yet.
READ THE BIBLE AT LEAST 4 TIMES: I haven't started this yet. I did find my Bible and flip through it this morning, so that is start at least.
SAVE $20.00 IN SAVINGS: I deposited $20.00 in my savings. That feels good.
THINGS ACCOMPLISHED:
WORK ON BUDGET 1/9/14
CHECK ON FORD FOCUS BALANCE 1/9/14
WRITE IN JOURNAL 1/10/14
SAVE $20.00 IN SAVINGS 1/10/14
FINISH BOOK 1/10/14
Accomplishing 5 out of 7 goals isn't too bad. Of course, I didn't write in my journal as many times as I would have liked this week, but I was really prepared. Maybe I really need to think about how I am writing these goals.
I guess I should list what next week's goals are:
WEEKLY GOALS FOR JANUARY 12th – JANUARY 18th, 2014:
1. Work on Budget
2. Write in Journal 7 times
3. Finish a book
4. Crochet at least 5 times (Bickles, blankets, granny squares)
5. Read the Bible at least 7 times
6. Save $20.00 in savings
7. Get a rough idea for steam punk costume for Time Traveler's ball
8. Start Water Fast ( 7 days)
I called my mother this morning to see if she could mail the TV converter remote to me. She gave me the box back in early November, but I haven't been able to use it since she was going to drop it off to me, and I am still waiting. My DVD player started acting funny on December 26th, which it was less then a month old. I tried to get it to work a couple times since then, as well as last night with no luck. So I ended up listening to my VCR player. If I had the converter remote, I might be able to get a station in that I could listen to instead of spending another $30.00 for a DVD player right now. Another one of my goals is to stop listen to the TV before I go to be. Living alone makes it really quiet for me, so I have to have some type of noise. I guess I have always had to have it, since I have listen to the radio falling asleep since I was in the high risk nursery as a infant, and listen to the radio to fall alseep to as a teenager. As an adult, it became the TV. I am hoping to break that habit. There was a couple months in 2012 which I didn't play my TV in my bedroom at all. I think I will try that once again.
Wondering if the Cowboy will text me at all today. Probably not. I miss taking to him, but I really want him to reach out to me. I feel stupid at times when it seems that I am just talking to myself.
I am thinking I might start doing something positive everyday like in the morning saying some positive affirmations, like I am intelligent or I am how kind I am or something. I know it sounds like I am vain. Maybe that is why I don't do something like that. I don't like to think I am becoming full of myself.

I honestly have to say that I am not looking forward to water fasting, as I have been enjoying a lot of veggies off and on lately. I don't think any one enjoys water fasting, especially when their body really needs it. It is rough going.

WATER INTAKE: Approximately 4 ounces
WEIGHT: 147 pounds
