“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.” ~ Marilyn Monroe

I woke up early, which wasn't too bad, but I have to say that I really wanted some fast food like McDonald's breakfast. I am sure going to miss that for a year. I laid in about 7 a.m. And wondering what I could do. I didn't want to cook this morning and I wanted to get out. I was mulling around the idea about going to Subway for breakfast, as it isn't on my Fast Food list. I guess I should go through the list as to what my resolution is. My New Year's Resolution is to not eat junk food. My Dad asked me what I consider junk food. I told him all Fast Food. And then he asked me “Then you can't eat at Subway any longer?” I said “Of course, I can.” and then I realized what he was trying to say. I have to label what I consider fast food and junk food. So, there is how I labeled it.

MY JUNK FOOD LIST

Any and all fast food restaurants (i.e. McDonald, Burger King, Taco Bell, Arbys, etc.) but not including Subway (as it is all healthy veggies and salads) and possibly Steak and Shake (as it is more restaurant-ish then fast food)
Any cookies, ice cream, potato chips, candy bars, etc. (crackers only if they are snack crackers like Cheez-its, but not like Wasa crackers which I have used for small snacks in the past)

* My mother mentioned if I am at a party or at someone's house, I should be courteous and eat what they provide and not be rude and too picky.

So I wrote 3 pages in my journal (my morning pages), made my bed and got ready to leave for breakfast. So here is what I have done or plan to do today, before I tell you the rest.

The Things that I accomplished already today are:

January 11, 2014

√ Fed my cats and loved on them
√ Made my bed
√ Write Morning pages (Journal 3 pages)
√ Take a Vitamin

The Things I want to accomplish to night:

January 11, 2014

Knit a little
Read a little
Read the Bible
Gather receipts/Separate
Clean out wallet
Clean out purse
Water plants
Pick out/organize garden seeds
Balance check book
Pick up clothes
Wash clothes
Wash some dirty dishes

So I went drove past Subway to see if Brad's book store was open. I thought it would be nice to look at books and maybe get a couple since I hadn't rewarded myself for doing so well of my other goals. The books store was closed so I just drove around admiring all the houses, and wonder what type of people lived in them. Made me wish to have a house of my own, instead of a trailer. Made me wish to have a normal life, where I was with someone I loved and had children around. I keep my own deep seeded dreams to myself, because I know marriage or children scare men off. Well, they kind of scare me, because it seems no man I fall in love with wants them. I guess that is why Facebook hurts so much. I see people dating and being happy, getting married, having babies and all I have is a new book to read.

Sigh. Sorry, I am off topic.

So, I drove around and finally stopped off at Denny's and decided to have a good breakfast there. It was delicious! I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to eat, as it all looked so good. All I did know is that I wanted something with a lot of veggies in it and I didn't necessarily want an omelet. So I got a Ultimate Skillet. It was huge that I only ended up eating half of it. And eating the other half for a snack when I got home later on.

I made my way to Brad's bookstore and browsed the books for a while, and ended up buying 3 cheap books. I started reading one as soon as I got home. I took a really nice nap with Mekong curled up beside me as well. It was a lovely, yet a very lonely Saturday. D. didn't text me. My mother was too busy with getting ready to move, so it was just me and my two cats.

I hate to say it but I really miss D. I miss the conversation we used to have. I really don't even know what to say to him as he is so silent with me, that I feel lost. I just know that my heart is curious on how he is doing, and the new things that he is learning.

Sigh. I hate my heart.
