To understand the whole process of making war and it's ramifications on you!
”The unawakened mind tends to make war against the way things are. To follow a path with heart, we must understand the whole process of making war, within ourselves and without, how it begins and how it ends. War’s roots are in ignorance. Without understanding, we can easily become frightened by life’s fleeting changes, the inevitable losses, disappointments, the insecurity of our aging and death. Misunderstanding leads us to fight against life, running from pain or grasping at security and pleasures that by their nature can never be truly satisfying.”

Masters of Illumination 19 y
There is nothing new under the sun in the heart and soul of man. Start your day inspired by those who knew what we continue to relearn. Our true nature.
Asana is a steady, comfortable posture.
Asana (yoga posture) means the posture that brings comfort and steadiness. Any pose that brings this comfort and steadiness is a yoga asana. If you can achieve one pose, that is enough. It may sound easy, but in how many poses are we really comfortable and steady? Before we can relax the mind and bring more balance into our lives we need to work on the physical body by using yoga practices such as posture work and breath control.

Today is a beautiful day, and after morning Sadhana, chant meditation, I am off to commune with the depths of my subconcious in Neptune's icy domain- I am so lucky to be alive! Thank you Universe!
Blogging from the Heart
Up early and decided it was a invitation to meditate, did Sadhana -Yipee, how lucky I am to be alive, there is no problem, person, place or thing that can stop my absolute joy of being in my skin this morning.
I’m on my way to the Bay to have a swim and contemplate the interesting people I have met over the last week in my search for the perfect living space. Interesting men and women are revolving in my space. ’Our’ space since they are here with me. It turns out I must say the correct things to be desired as a ’sharer of space’. Yoga Asana, Mudra and Kriya for Release 19 y
Here is an example of a set of Kundalini Yoga for release of anger, opening of heart, and navel point stimulation (will and will power)
EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF KUNDALINI YOGA!
Prana-Apana Balance
What will it do for you?
This kriya is delicate and subtle in its many effects. When the energies of prana and apana are properly mixed, the power of the Kundalini can be released. This set is carefully designed to mix prana and apana at the navel point.
How to do it:
1) Sit gracefully in Celibate Pose (sit with your buttocks between calves and ankles if this strains the knees then use a pillow beneath the Hiney), for 2 minutes, with hands relaxed on thighs, breathing normally.
2) Then stretch arms out to the sides p ... read more
chocolate feels good 19 y
Even thought there are some arguments against chocolate (liver, intestine arguments) The topic of chocolate, particularly in the lives of women, comes up over and over again. To comfort PMS, heartbreak, to feel lovely love-WHY? Read on guys! This falls under 'do the things you like to do' category (OH OK in moderation-Drat!)
”Chocolate contains not only caffeine, but also two other compounds with possible sex-enhancing effects, anandamide and phenylethylamine. The term, anandamide, comes from the Sanskrit ananda, which means bliss.
Discovered in 1996, it’s a neurotransmitter chemically similar to
tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the intoxicant in marijuana, which may partly explain why some people find chocolate so intoxicating. Phenylethylamine (PEA) is ”the molecule of love,” according to the late Theresa Crenshaw, M.D., author of The Alchemy of Love and Lust. PEA is a natural form of amphetamine. Mending your Subconcious Wounds 19 y
There is a lot going on in YOU, many illnesses and negative mental states are a result of blocks and fear. How to heal that which you cannot consiously get in touch with? Intuit?
Mending Subconscious Wounds
We all experience traumas in our lives, some big and some so very small that they are only important to ourselves. Over time these traumas have a tendency to come back and create new problems for us though. This happens because our subconscious mind is trying to protect us from future harm.
Lets say you were bitten by a dog when you were a small child, to protect you from further harm, your subconscious mind brings back the image of you being bitten every time you see a dog. You respond with fear and possibly anger in response to this warning from deep insid ... read more

A Swim in Cold Water 19 y
One of my passions is open water swimming. I swim in the San Diego Bay, without a wetsuit, and the experience is life enhancing
Today I am writing from the heart-I’ve watched and participated in a couple of forums, i.e. Conciousness, Spirtuality, Depression, Cleanse, Raw Foods, Juicing, and Yoga.
What keeps coming up for me is that we forget to do the things we enjoy. When health worries, and relationship worries, money worries, life isn’t looking like it supposed to worries crop up-and they do-many of us stop enjoying life...in fact to some degree if worry is persistant than we are not enjoying that part of our life.
I love to open water swim. The water is 57-60 degrees in winter and 67-70 degrees in summer ... read more
Kundalini ENERGY Awakening 19 y
This is the awakening of life force energy. It is the joining of the male and female energies in one. There are many erotic practices that have been developed using the abitlity to control the energy through the chakras. Since mainly Yogi's are celebate, they actual use sexual energy to propel the kundalini up the spinal cord through the crown chakra. In this way they join their personal energy with the Universal Energy. So this was not orignally a sexual practice but a practice that used sexual energy to generate the Divine in oneself. But then there are no rules only personal. Heady Stuff! Or should I say.....
Kundalini Yoga is the most powerful Yoga ever known and is considered as the mother of all the Styles of Yoga. It centers on awakening the Kundalini, the energy (serpent power or Bhujangini) which is found at the base of our spine or the Muladhara Chakra. Kundalini came from the word kunda which means ”pot” but it Kundalini Sadhna, it is defined as the coiled energy that looks like a serpent with three and a half coils lying dormant at the base of the spine with the tip of its tail to its mouth. The three coils represent the Three Gunas: the Sattva, Rajas and Tamas, the half coil represent ... read more

So for all those who have been enjoying Leslie’s Poetry, Clean Up, and Fenging....It just so happens we are in the same town and we decided to meet at the garden for a Lovely Tour.
I arrived at the property at 3:13pm -(*wink*)14 minutes early. I came in and saw the most incredible birthday cake for R one of the younger residents of the House. A, a great gal with blond hair, and of the same *era* as me had just baked and decorated the cake with the most beautiful flowers from the Enchanted Garden.

Givingness 19 y
So what is life all about, anyway?
”Givingness”
Life undoubtedly belongs to the ones who take it. But how can one take it unless we first give it. It is impossible. So true givingness is the transmitting of the self to everything we do, no matter what it is-the outpouring of ourselves into every undertaking with an enthusiastic zest, love, kindness, and friendliness.
Th law of mental polarity, cause, and effect, that that which goes out comes back the way it went out, PLUS the intensification of that which it has contacted en route (like minds?). If we dislike someone he will feel it, no matter what we say....Why is t ... read more
