I purchased a buck/boost voltage converter on ebay for under £15 which upped my 12 volt cheap wall plug in PSU to 38 volts. Thanks, the unit doesn’t have an auto shutoff. It does have a green LED that gets progressively brighter to indicate conductivity, it does actually work. Colloidal Silver is unstable, and would likely react with the metals surface of an ultrasonic humidifier. With that said, it is likely that particles left at the bottom of a reservoir could be due to colloidal silver either; dropping-out or plating and precipitating over time with use. Typical TDS meters don’t really measure colloidal silver - I know alot of sellers say this, but that’s mostly due to confusion. Having said that, there are a few factors to consider before drawing a conclusion on your results. The first question I’d ask is whether or not your generator shuts-off at a given point in processing? The second thing I’d ask is whether or not the solution is showing any signs of color change? I have a new Micro-particle-colloidal-silver-generator which claims to make 5ppm CS in 3 hours. I want a stronger batch for external use so I let it run for over 24 hours. My TDS meter still reads 1-2 TDS (distilled water reads 0 at start). Is this a problem with the generator or the meter? Is it possible the Micro particle generator makes such small particles that the TDS meter can’t read? With my Sota after 12 hours I would get a grey solution with 20+ TDS, but after 24 hours this is still clear.   [End]

Thanks for the clarification on the potentiometer. You can control current with a resistor(or Potentiometer) by wiring the resistor in parallel as opposed to the more common series in a circuit. Hi Esstee and thanks for your reply. Yes a 1Meg Ohm potentiometer. I sellotaped my diode to my home made generator, packed it away and decorated my office (way overdue.) Setting up the gear the diode was lost :) I didn’t know that it will not affect the voltage. Ta Despite the great voltage drop the batches were fine due to fussy disconnecting/connecting meter and pot. I will have to purchase another. Hi maxo, I’ll do my best to help you with this. The first thing to note, is that a current regulating diode is quite unique, in that it can easily limit current without affecting voltage. Which is great for colloidal silver making, and can greatly simplify things, as you yourself are experiencing now. With that said, a resistor on the other hand, can affect both the current and the voltage depending on how it is wired-up. Having said that, and before offering any more advice, would I be correct in assuming that the potentiometer you’re using is a 1 Meg Ohm potentiometer?   [End]

I’m sure this is very basic but can’t find the answer. Can anybody help. My colloidal silver generator: I have a millimeter in series with a 1mg potentiometer. I keep at 1mg but the voltage drops drastically no matter what the voltage is from the power source. This happens even with a 1mg resistor in series. Hello, I don’t know if this will work for your situation but I did raw garlic half cloves chewed on it as much as poss until mushy in mouth then swallowed my lungs immediately opened up and I was great. It did wear off as hours passed but I only did half clove not even. Also one can use a garlic press/ mincer and drain the garlic juice into cup and add it with silver or just tiny water and drink it . So I recently got a Silvergen sg6, and been trying to make a working batch for 3 days now with no success. I’m using the dial at 12 o’clock to try and make a 10ppm solution, but all I’m getting is 2ppm and a lot of visible sediment at the bottom of the bottle and many visible particles floating around the bottle.
