Yes a 1Meg Ohm potentiometer.

I sellotaped my diode to my home made generator, packed it away and decorated my office (way overdue.)

Setting up the gear the diode was lost :)

I didn't know that it will not affect the voltage. Ta

Despite the great voltage drop the batches were fine due to fussy disconnecting/connecting meter and pot.
I will have to purchase another.

Would you be kind enough to give the description of the diode as I went to my ebay but purchase history doesn't go back enough?
