Oil will typically stay in the stomach for many hours so your issue is pretty normal. Doing a flush with undigested food still in the stomach does not work so well. Better to do it on an empty stomach if you can. It will typically take many flushes to get the GB working the way it’s supposed to so patience is key. This was always confusing to me when I was studying Ayurveda as well so I looked into the issue quite a bit. There are a couple different ways to think about it. Ayurveda uses the term prabhava for a substance that works the opposite way that we would expect. Ayurveda teaches that the sour taste increases pitta (fire), which increases acidity. The sour taste is activated by acidic substances, so acid substances would normally increase pitta and acidity in the body. Has anyone hear read the Gut Health Protocol? I htink it use to be free but now I wouold have to buy it I think. I’m having all kinds of problems with pain in my abdomin and lots of diarreah and heart burn. If this works I would be glad to try it. Looks lie a lot of people have tried the book and it looks like it helps everyone. My doctor has been no help. He ssays I have inflammation but doesnt know why. i don’t think your body is agreeing with the sugar. an anti-candida diet would be optimal even if only for a few weeks, you can rebalance your flora too with juicing and enzymes. Also work steadily with boosting your immune system, this way if you do have an allergy or intolerance the immune system can work to fight it off. echinacea, and medicinal mushrooms, aloe vera juice fresh from the leaf, etc.   [End]

For about a year I’ve been battling changes in my bowel movements, after a antibiotic treatment. Starting to wonder if it was even related to the treatment. Lemon and ACV are acidic outside the body, but once they are consumed and their contents are metabolized the mineral composition creates an alkalyzing effect inside the body.
