Update: what’s working for me is Coconut oil - get one of the organic ones, Tesco sells one I think. It’s like a white butter that melts in the hand. The effects last for a few hours. I went through a very similar journey. I got rid of my melasma and it has not come back. There are a lot of laser treatments out there but I did A LOT of research and found one that is more advanced. Treatment was painless and there was no down time. Here’s what I did: every couple of days i would go down to the health food store and buy bundles of kale collards bok choi, brocolli, and once in a while some chard. I would go home and wash and chop them into a huge bag. This was my food bag and ended up weighing more than 5 pounds. Hi there, You don’t need any expensive creams. Just go get Selsun Blue either name brand or generic (both work but one is cheaper). I use the 2.5% but it comes in a 1% too I believe and it works fine (my Dr. recommended it to treat it). If you use the higher dose, you must be sure to not keep it on for more than 15mins as it can burn the skin in the area being treated. I would suggest using the 1% if you have never treated it before, it will do just fine. Spread a little on the area you have the Tinea and be sure to get all the spots. the fungus you’re referring to is called tinea versicolor~and sadly, no this is not what I have. My ex husband had that and got an anti fungal cream for it which I tried and had no effect. I agree... those might be worms/parasites rather than candida. I think many people confuse candida with alot of other things. Most of the times its strands/clumps of mucus caused by the antifungals or chemicals/alcohols released by the candida. I observed this in my colonics.
