Re: to netav: flax seed

This is a great conversation!
2 Things...

1-I have some flax seed from "Y2K".
There may be some bug infestation.
It's been in glass jars and mostly cool.
Do you think it's good to use?
Can I throw it in a field and have it grow?
I will probably throw it into shakes or on salads.
It's not good to cook it, right?
Sprouting didn't work for me - very mushy mess.

2-I bought a neat soy-milk maker.
It's stainless and is a heater and blender in one.\
I believe the company is Miua Ilisa (or something like that).
You can make all kinds of "milk" with it, plus use the residue for other useful food products.
The price was pretty fair.

Thanks,
Mary
