Re: to netav
Hi No flush:
If you read the book, he states to still enjoy life and cheat sometimes, so don't feel quilty if you cheat, just don't do it regularly.
I read somewhere that soy milk can cause stomach problems. I was having stomach problems at the time so I gave it up. I'm not saying that was my problem, but it went away after that.
I believe the Avoid/neutral, one of borderline ones. The book does not call it that, that's a curezone thing.
I tried the vegan/vegatarian thing and didn't feel good on it. The author of
Blood Type Diet says he has the hardest time trying to get vegatarians to eat meat and tells of some success stories where they finally did and it fixed all their problems. I'm not saying this to change your mind, I'm just saying that being a vegatarian I got sick a lot. If it works for you, then great, I wish you well. I do spend a lot of money buying natural meats (steroid free and free ranging)
Without meat, I'm sure you have to do supplements to get your protein. I eat a lot of metrix bars (no corn syrup or sugar), a lot of walnuts and almonds, and my protein powder is rice protein, which is a neutral. In the book he states if you don't follow the diet exactly, that the best thing O's can do is get away from wheat and peanuts. I will attest though, that my friends are wigging out because I eat like a horse, but am losing weight. Amazing, when you quit eating things that are poisonus to your body, how you loose weight. don't sweat the lentils, just make it a special sunday thing or somthing. Good luck, let me know how you do on this diet being a vegatarian. Check out the recipe I gave up above for ice cream. It's all vegan.
