your getting there.
Have you tried the Yu Brand rice milk. It has a basamti one that I think is tons' better than cow's milk.
I'm like you and love ice-cream. I do like the rice dream bars, but I bought the ultimate chopper on t.v and make my own ice cream. I'm not sure if a regular blender will work, but you might want to try it.
I've tried some of the vegan, soy and other ice creams, and I don't think they are good.
I take 1/2 frozen banana (i know that bananas are an avoid, so use somthing else if you want, maybe a couple cubes of frozen rice milk) 1/2 sliced frozen apple.(neutral) a couple cupes of frozen pineapple juice (highly benificial) and some walnuts (also highly benificial)mix them up and then add rice milk(neutral) to the consistancy of ice cream or shake, whichever you like.
This is one of the best tasting ice creams i have ever tasted. if it's after a work out, I'll mix in some rice protein powder, maybe some ground flax seed or hemp seeds. If you want to be naughty, you could sneak in a strawberry, some heavy cream or yogurt, but I personally don't think it needs it.
Let me know if you try it, if the blender works, and if you think it's as yummy as I think
