I am not even within shouting distance of "pure" - the twinkle in my mischievous eyes is a dead giveaway!

But, despite my slips and errors, I try to first do no harm and I am mostly like Eric Burdon and the Animals once sang:

Spoken like a truly GODLY person. For a person to admit that they are not inheritantly "worthy" of everything that God has to offer (His graciousness) is true humility (that is what God WANTS in us, it PLEASES Him, many have been indoctrinated to be OBSESSED only with "COMMANDS"). Growing up, my dad never COMMANDED me.

1) my "intentions" were good (he taught me well and I wanted to do things right).
2) I knew that his ways were wise and I learned from him. When it was called for, he would reprimand me for intentionally causing harm, but he was not enthusiastic/anxious to do so, our relationship was based on love, not merely faith/trust, not COMMANDS, and not my avoidance of violations of "properness" (aka "sinning"). Our relationship was based on love. (God is the FATHER of the human race).

I didn't know God's true identity at the time (or who He would send to purify our souls), but I was a Godly type person. When I did something wrong, I didn't blame a "devil", I didn't make excuses and claim that I had inherited an "evil sickness" (no one does), or make my problems someone else's,...I (as the saying goes) "picked up my own cross".

When I learned of God's true identity and who He sent to purify our souls, I also followed Jesus with "my own cross".


Matthew 10:38 "...and he who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me".

We inherited the "...natural limitations" of being physically confined to a mortal body (the flesh). Symbolically and philosophically, the souls of all humanity were already handicapped by the INITIAL (not "original", "original" would mean it's still in effect) disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Since we are free moral agents, we can't blame our actions on "original" anything. Mankind chose that word as an excuse to ignore CONSCIENCE (Hebrews 9:14 "...through the eternal spirit...purify your conscience").

Nobody is born with the INTENTION of causing evil to happen, only the INABILITY to be perfect (this is all "misunderstood" because the word "original" was chosen to be used by "imperfect humanity" (so who is really our enemy?).
