I hear ya!

But I do not believe that original sin was passed down in a way that made all of us sinful at birth or born with an evil nature. I think we are still born the same way - pure and with good hearts, but easily corrupted and with free will that can be our glory and salvation or our shame and damnation.

Not all believe the same way as I do, but I just do not relate that well with much of the vengeance and harshness in the Old Testament. ng with many inspired messages, I also see the hand of man with his own agendas in there.

I was taught to love God, not fear Him, and it is the messages of Jesus of faith, hope, love, forgiveness and salvation that resonate most with me.

And now abide these three: faith, hope and love. And the greatest of these is love.
