Re: just 65 years old
Yes, the wickedness of the flesh is great, but I do not believe that it came from man's very nature, carnal though we may be - otherwise why did God create man to be sinful in the first place? A mistake? If so, and we take things literally (I have a wee problem with doing that, given all the self serving translations, edits and so forth - especially in the Old Testament when woman was mere chattal and entire towns were wiped out, plagues were visited, and on and on), then He erased that initial mistake (now there is a concept in itself - God making a mistake!) with the big flood.
At any rate, it is hard for me to conceive that God made man sinful to begin with, despite the "born into sin" notion - that would kind of be a cruel burden, don't you think? I would rather believe that man, flawed though he is, has natural goodness in his heart it is the other side that influences man to sin.
