freely giving up your free will and maintaining your freedom. how is that possible? yet that is what is required.

you know what the problem is. people look any given situation and imagine that it has always been and ever shall be. they make gods of their own perceptions. these are the idols that are talked about. the false gods are merely false perceptions. if it really is truth, it has to be from god. if it is false, it cant be from god.

to fix this problem, all of life must be viewed as a process. the only thing that is static is god himself. he is our rock to give us reference so we dont get lost along the way. everything else must evolve or die. in fact, the definition of life as we know it is change. that is what repent means - to change the way you think. that was the message of jesus. if you cant keep doing that, youre dead.
