Re: just 65 years old (edited)
Hi Chris and Tony,
Who has the truth? Although many claim they do, nobody does. My personal belief is that if we had listened to Jesus' teachings, and there are also others but I am not familiar with them, and if we lived them, then we would know the truth. However, in order to control the multitudes, the truth was hidden long ago. I think once we get past the false teachings, we know the truth in our hearts. It's just getting past those years of indoctrination and then searching for what is real.
The Bible. Yep, we are missing parts to the puzzle. If you read the Book of Enoch, the Book of Jared, and more of the "lost" books you get a better picture and more of the truth.
So, it is up to us to seek out the truth. I love it when I read a science fact that correlates to a bible passage, it's like putting a puzzle together. In the end, what do I think is the most important thing? Love. I think this is what Jesus came to teach, together with the other teachers. Most of us have failed that lesson.
Hugs,
Luella
