ultimate sacrifice?
>>>>>>>>>"He was giving his body as an ultimate sacrifice."<<<<<<<<<<<<
What exactly did Jesus sacrifice? (What exactly did Jesus give up?)
How much of a sacrifice is "dying" if you're an immortal god, and as a god manipulated mere mortal humans into killing your disposable human body that you prefered to not live in anyway? Doesn't sound like a sacrifice at all, which makes it all the more a suicide.
Humans did not control the situation of Jesus' death, Jesus did. Jesus even forced those humans to commit the sin of killing him. Did those Romans who killed Jesus go to hell, even though Jesus made them kill him and made them sin? You can't really say that immortal Jesus was a victim of the acts of mere mortals, in a situation that Jesus created can you? For it to have been a sacrifice, Jesus had to have been a victim, which he clearly was not. For it to have been a sacrifice, Jesus had to have given up something (something substantial at that), which he clearly did not.
