Your words are VERY true. Those that have the ability and knowledge for 'intelligent opinions', CERTAINLY have the ability and knowledge for respectful discussion without hurtful comments and name calling.

That phrase: "Don't let people talk to you like that"...is one that is near & dear to the hearts of almost everyone. The exception is those that are rude, bullies, egoic or powerful - the one that "DO" the 'talking to you like that'.

Sadly, for all the 'advanced intellectual knowledge', we still have those that feel that a bit more 'book learnin' and a strong set of playground follows is an excuse for being rude, hateful, snide and disrespectful. And that's something that Iodine DOESN'T cure.
