Well if you read Aye's response below you will see exactly what I said in different words and from the mouth of a woman. When somebody is desperate it hurts their game and when somebody is slightly unnavailable and gives off the energy like they are content with their lives then people become attracted to them.

This idea is very threatening to some women because it makes them feel like they have no control over their built in human instincts so they are very quick to slap it down. Tweet
